X Factor: Sunday Week 1 – Dannii Minogue In Project D

Dannii Minogue wore an adorable LBD on tonights X Factor which she paired with black lace heels.

Her Project D dress is from her Spring 2011 collection, which she co-designs with her best friend Tabitha Somerset-Webb.

I loved the patent belt which cinched her in at the waist and I also loved the ruffled details on her skirt, but I hated the hair.

Hate a strong word, but I have no other way to express how much I disliked it.

That ratty ponytail was so creepy. It moved as if it was sprayed with 3 cans of Elnett.

Also the colour doesn’t suit her. I much prefer her as a brunette.

Dannii’s hair really ruined the overall look for me.

This dress looks cheap and to me, ugly. Like some kind of prom mourning dress.

Love the dress, didn’t dislike the hair but she could have been more inspired in my opinion.
When I saw the dress I thought “this is something Cheryl could have worn on the X-factor 1 or 2 year ago”. A shorter version of course…

Do you know who did Cheryl’s dress? Actually, I am sure it’s coming in the next post…. ;D

i’m not crazy about this look, but she does look great minus the hair…

Both girls looked amazing. Wish I could have their hand me downs, I wouldn’t complain, looking forward to next weeks fashion

I like her look as well – and I’m still trying to figure out what type of print is on her shoe?

Her hair reminds me of the time when my cousin wore a fake hairpiece (the entire ponytail) after putting her hair in a bun. Maybe that’s what’s going on here too??

I agree about Dannii’s hair. I disliked it alot!

Saw a picture of her in a rag mag and her hair was a short bob in the colour of the ponytail. Her hair must have grown 6 inches in a few days!! If she lost what is likely a hair piece she’d look better.

I think she changed her hair as last years show was all about her hair and she had to do something to ‘stand out’. The dress is cute but like you said, the hair ruins this look

The hair ruins it for me. bring back brunette Dannii!

What did you think of the styling on X Factor in general? I think they need to fire their stylist! Mary was in a JUMPSUIT!

Ugh that hair is indeed atrocious but she looks lovely from the neck down.

I liked Danii’s look better on TV, and despite the hair, and it’s horrendous colour, I prefered her to Cheryl. Her dress suite dher a lot more. Danii won by a mile for me this week.

I realized if you actually photoshop the back part of her hair out… she would look amazing, from head to toe : )
