Tang Wei also opted for a breath-taking gown for the opening ceremony of the 2010 Pusan Film Festival in Seoul yesterday.
Her ivory Alberta Ferretti Fall 2010 gown has cascading crystal embellishments which drape around the neckline and bodice.
I would’ve preferred her in the runway colour, but she looks beautiful nonetheless.
She adds just a simple cuff to complete her look.

For the “Late Autumn” photocall today, Tang Wei wore a grape Lanvin one shoulder drape dress from the Fall 2010 collection.
I love her hair down with this cape-like design dress, but I’m not too keen on her shoe choice.

I reallt love her in both looks.
I’d prefer the runway version. But that would bring us the WWIB because I think Natalie Imbruglia wore the purple version already.
I am with you on the colour of the Ferretti and not too keen on the hair. It also seems as if there was one additional see-through layer to the runway look and that really makes the look.
The Lanvin intrigues me insanely on the runway, but it just looks like a complete mess on Wei. Bad angle of the shot and a bad pose just bring out the worst sides of this look.
I dont know which look I like the most.
She has such great style. I actually prefer the ivory, I think it better suits her warm skin tone, and also it makes it different from the one Natlia Imbruglia wore. The shoes honestly don’t bother me too much with the lanvin dress, what an amazing colour for her, and Oh my, I want her hair.
I love the sleek presentation of this dress on the runway, but on Tang Wei I’m much less impressed.
Sorry, to be clear, I meant the Lanvin dress
I think Fan bing bing wore the purple version for Cannes. I like the cream one too but i think the cream takes away the softness a little bit.
oh yeah, never mind. It was Natalie.
I like the Lanvin look better.
I liked Natalie Imbrulia in the Alberta Ferretti gown better than Tang Wei here. Tang in the Lanvin dress is a dream, I like that her hair actually was like an accessory as it complements the dress.
I absolutely love the first dress on her.
Love the Alberta Ferretti the best. I like the runway color, but this one works well with her skin tone.
she looks wonderful in both outfits.
The Alberta Feretti looks like two different gowns in the photos. The runway version looks much softer and flowing with its draping and partially transparent top layer. Tang Wei’s ivory version looks stiff in comparison – verging on “Royal family”.
being asian myself good to see so many asian faces =) x
