My fashion week season ended this morning at Elie Saab’s Spring 2011 presentation in Paris.
It was (as always) the perfect way to close the season.
My king was influenced by the 70s. Think the glitz and glamour of Studio 54, Bianca Jagger and Diane von Furstenberg.
We saw lots of jerseylious looks. Material not the TV show.
The jersey dresses and jumpsuits were paired alongside elegant floaty gowns and chiffon tunics.
With their soft make-up and cascading waves models stormed the runway wearing everything from chic day wear to sparking jumpsuits, to cute peachy chiffon shorts paired with a dazzling jacket, to cocktail dresses to evening gowns with plunging necklines.
The colour palette was a beautiful mix of pea green, coral, nude, slate grey and a beautiful abstract pastel print.

Of course the bling king embellished a lot of looks, but the models were also decorated in a lot of gold jewels that would make Mr T blush.
I couldn’t help but notice the accessories this season.
Models had gold bangles stacked to the elbow, gold large chokers and gold chains draped around their waists.

Crocodile totes, shoulder bags and clutches with gold hardware were the perfect finishing touches to the elegant looks which complemented the pieces the models were wearing.
Front Row: Dita von Teese
Favourites: EVERYTHING. Don’t make me choose.
Who I See Wearing This Collection: Megan Fox (in the slate grey ruched gown) Taylor Swift, Jennifer Lopez, Diane Kruger, Rachel McAdams, Blake Lively, Cheryl Cole, Helen Mirren, Emily Blunt, Fan Bingbing, Sarah Jessica Parker, Eva Mendes, Angelina Jolie, Amber Heard, Dakota Fanning, Michelle Yeoh, Beyonce Knowles and Aishwarya Rai
I’m adding the whole collection to facebook. Click here to see it.
