Katherine Heigl started promoting her new movie “Life As We Know It” last week.
At the New York premiere she was joined by her co-star Josh Duhamel on the red carpet.
He looked at hot as always, whilst she wore a David Meister ruby red fan pleated satin one shoulder cocktail dress.
I like the dress, but the platinum blonde hair colour doesn’t work with it or more importantly the hair colour doesn’t really suit her.
This dress would’ve looked so much better on a rich brunette.
Her look was paired with Rene Caovilla ivory Swarovski crystal heels and a sparkling clutch.

I think she looks really pretty, and I may be in the minority, but I much prefer her as a blonde.

I know! David Meister makes pretty dresses that you just want to wear to your boyfriend’s holiday cocktail party. Why do hollywood starlets go platinum blonde? It usually doesn’t work!

i think this is very wedding outfit like. The hair is soooo fried, it’s not funny anymore. We are talking about somebody who has the money to go to a decent hairdresser and get 50 shades of high and lowlights. This looks like a bottle job she did in her hotel bathroom.
lol, agreed! she has no excuse. i think her hair is ridiculous, and its such a shame, b/c shes really one of the most beautiful movie stars, but she goes and does stuff like this! i also think she styles herself in a very mumsy manner usually as well.

Agree on the hair color but I was SO happy to see she went for a simple shoe that didn’t overpower the dress – I wish more celebrities would consider Rene Caovilla’s designs for their red carpet looks!

I am awfully tired of one-shoulder dresses, but still I think she looks great in this one. I agree with you, FC, about her hair color. I like her better as a blond, but not this color blond. I wish she’d go back to whatever she was before she tried to be a brunette.

i think this dress is far more youthful than what she usually wears nowadays, she always dresses too old, imo. and the hair is sooooo aging and gross.
