Roland Mouret Spring 2011

Roland Mouret’s Spring 2011 collection presented us with soft feminine sensual pieces we have come to expect from the French designer.

We saw beautiful free flowing crepe and silk dresses alongside silk two-tone camisoles, oversized shirts, colour-block kimono pants, cashmere cardigans and pegged pants.

These separates gave the collection a sporty feel to the collection, which contrasted with below the knee dresses.

A lot of these dresses had open backs or keyhole details as the models long ponytails swished down the runway.

If you’re looking for something uber sexy, Mouret gave us some black bandages dresses and sexy backless dungarees which I can imagine will sell out the second they hit Net-A-Porter.com.

I was delighted to see the green and white prints in this collection as we don’t often see prints from Mouret.

I loved the caped shoulders which looked like a parachute as the models took to the runway.

In the show notes, the designer announced that he will be opening a his first store on Carlos Place in Mayfair, London Spring 2011, just in time for his Mr by Roland Mouret menswear launch.

Some models had bold red lips, whilst others went au naturel.

All the model wore Christian Louboutin wooden platform heels.
