Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Monique Lhuillier Spring 2011 was breathtakingly beautiful as expected

The designer was inspired by a beautiful girl running through a lush ‘Garden of Eden’.

This translated well via the beautiful watercolour hues, the red apple dresses, the subtle reptile prints and lots of shimmer to replicate the sun.

For day wear we saw floral dresses, high-waisted pants and airy blouses.

For that special occasion we were presented with chic elegant lace and sequin cocktail dresses, and for the red carpet Monique excelled in creating the most luxurious gorgeous floor-sweeping gowns.

I was almost in a dreamy state from the details and the ranging colours.

Front Row: Giada De Laurentiis, Maggie Grace, Alexis Bledel, Emma Roberts, Olivia Palermo, Perrey Reeves, Odette Yustman and Jessica Lowndes

Favourites: blush ombre sequin strapless corseted dress and rose printed strapless ball gown

Who I See Wearing This Collection:
Maggie Grace, Alexis Bledel, Emma Roberts, Sophia Bush, Kristin Davis, Kristen Bell, Lucy Liu, Eva Mendes, Carey Underwood, Taylor Swift, Carey Mulligan and Hilary Swank

Emma Stone wore a daring Emilio Pucci Fall 2010 mini dress on the red carpet for the “Easy A” LA premiere this week.

The red haired actress sparkled down the red carpet in her sequined number which has a low cut back.

As much as I love the dress I would’ve preferred to have seen this dress on someone like Kate Hudson who would’ve worked the hell out of it.

Stella McCartney suede pumps with a zipper detail complete the look.

She went from a sassy dress to a sweet dress for the 2010 Toronto Film Festival premiere of “Easy A.”

Her blue 3D lace one shoulder dress was perfectly paired with navy Casadei pumps.

I’m glad she wore her hair up as not to detract us from beautiful shoulder detail, which admittedly looks a tad limp on Emma.

Of the two look this dress feels more like her and is my favourite of the two.

On Wednesday night Pop Princess Kylie Minogue walked the red carpet in London for the premiere of “The Kid”.

The petite Australian star opted for a Gucci Fall 2010 LBD.

Her sleeveless dress with a slash detail on the waist is embroidered with feathers which slightly overwhelms her tiny frame.

Maybe I would’ve been more inclined to love this look had she worn her hair up, but that doesn’t seem to be an issue for the Chanel Iman.

I love Kylie’s black strappy heels with a gold platforms, proving that black heels don’t have to be boring.

How do you feel about this look?

The 2010 Toronto Film Festival is still going strong and I continue to be impressed by the ladies walking the red carpet at this festival.

Tonight Malin Akerman looked sensational at the premiere of “The Bang Bang Club.”

I often wondered how this dress would work on the red carpet.

I worried how someone could pull off that waxy looking material, the fish-tail hem and the haltered neckline.

Malin does so with ease.

The material actually reflects really well on the red carpet under the flash photography.

With a smile that would light up any room and slick back hair this is a strong contender for BDOTW in my eyes.

What say you?

Blake Lively looked beautiful as always at “The Town” Boston Premiere last night wearing an Antonio Berardi crepe pencil dress from the Fall 2010 collection.

You know Blake’s my girl, so I was super excited to see her wearing one of my top 5 Fall 2010 dresses.

Her sexy chic look was paired with Elizabeth and James pumps and Lorraine Schwartz jewelery.

I was really disappointed when this dress was worn by Ashley Greene in ivory a few months ago, so I’m glad Blake oozed her sassy self into this LBD.

Blake wore a lot of Berardi in her Marie Claire UK October editorial.

A lot of you said she was perfect for the designers sexy style of dresses.

I guess she agrees.

Before the premiere, Blake visited ‘Regis and Kelly’ in New York wearing a Matthew Williamson Spring 2010 ensemble.

The look included a heavily embellished cropped jacket with a blue leather pencil skirt which is back to front.

This is a clever play on textures which results in this cool chic look.

I adore this look on Blake and give her kudos for not over-complicating look with too many accessories.

Pale yellow Louboutin’s complete her look.
