Leigh Lezark sits in the front row of New York fashion week to boost her profile, whereas stars like Claire Danes is there to shop.
The actress was front row at Narciso Rodriguez’ Spring 2011 presentation 2 weeks ago and it looks like this fresh off-the-runway dress caught her eye.
At the Vanidades 50th Anniversary Celebration in New York last night, Claire looked stunning wearing a black Narciso Rodriguez Spring 2011 dress with a sheer embroidered asymmetrical panel going across the waist.
This sheer detailed panel is also visible via the side split on her dress.
I know many of you find it hard to get excited about Claire, but do you agree that this is a great look for her?
Black strappy sandals and her gorgeous arm candy hubby Hugh Dancy completes her perfect look.
Demi Moore arrived at the Hollywood Domino’s 3rd annual Pre-Oscar Hollywood Gala back in March wearing a Victoria Beckham strapless dress from the designers Fall 2010 collection.
The star kept her look very simple by adding a few jewels and a colourful clutch.
Veronica Webb wore the same dress to the 2010 New Yorkers For Children Fall Gala at Cipriani this week.
The model also kept her look simple by adding dazzling jewels to her look.
It’s really hard to pick a winner.
I was initially drawn to Veronica, but I don’t like the shoes that are poking out from under her dress so I’m going to give this to Demi.
The Fendi Spring 2011 presentation was definitely one of my top 10 shows of the season.
I was seated in the 2nd row in front of the photographers pit.
The only way I could’ve had a better seat was in the front row of this area or on the runway itself, which is why I managed to get such great pictures.
The theme for this presentation was “the burning summer of passion”.
We were presented with a fresh and feminine collection which had striking pops of colour, gingham prints, floral prints and geometric cuts.
The “cappuccino” print – which also created the backdrop for this show – resembled coffee stains on a white tablecloth or a burnt piece of paper.
Most of the pieces were roomy with loose cropped pants, demure below the knee skirts and tunic dresses.
The lantern sleeves were definitely the highlight of this collection. They were sophisticated and cool and worked well with the 70s feel of this collection.
I was dying over the colour-blocked Fendi sunglasses.
I’m definitely going to be sporting these come Spring, and I have a feeling Rachel Zoe will be dying over them too.
Other key accessories included linked bracelets with the Fendi logo, which were both gold and multi-coloured.
The shoes ranged from a colourful 4 inches to a chunky platform wedge.
The bags…oh the bags.
Like the rest of the collection they featured in a range of vivid colours accented with the house logo and gold hardware.
The khaki and beige clutch which Freja was holding shot to the top of my wish list.
