*Goosebumps*
Welsh beauty Catherine Zeta-Jones brought Hollywood glamour to her homeland last night, when she walked the red carpet at the “Welcome to Wales” event which was held at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff.
Her rich red Reem Acra Pre-Fall 2010 cap sleeve silk gown is spectacular.
I haven’t seen Catherine look this drop-dead gorgeous in a long while.
Catherine lost a bit of weight whilst performing night after night on the Broadway show “A Little Night Music”, but she’s back her best.
I love that her figure-hugging gown shows off her beautiful figure to perfection.
She carried a gleaming Judith Leiber clutch and she wore Lorraine Schwartz chandelier earrings.
BDOTW??? For me 100%.

Surely, BDOTW for me too. Maybe even best red dress of the year
Eeeeek! That Carpet!
Finally she gets it right!! She looks beautiful. I agree BDOTW
Im really surprised to see her on the Red Carpet. Dont get me wrong, she looks great but I would have thought she would have avoided the Red Carpet
Why would she avoid it
Like MatteaAM said because of her husband. having cancer. I would have thought she would avoid being seen at all times during this difficult time. She’s more stronger than I imagined.
Cause of Michael? I don’t think he would want her too, though.
I don’t envy you having to narrow it down this week, FC. Too many good looks this week.
What a beauty. I found my BDOTW.
If I had to, I’d describe the feeling I had when I saw this as a huge weight that was lifted of my chest.
She’s back! *nods*
BDOTW, for sure. I don’t even have to see the others.
M. xx
She looks great, not so thin anymore.
So goood she tried ths and came back such a shiny way-she should look like ths all the time-it’s how I imagine her-taking all attention ;>> mua!
I love this look, too bad that ugly carpet she’s standing on is distracting.
Eww no, I don’t like that dress…
i think she actually looks old and matronly. Mother of the bride… i think it’s the sleeve that kill it for me.
I agree with Maria.
this dress makes me think two things, neither of which is good: matronly & bridesmaid.
nice clutch though.
Correct, but not at all among the contestants for BDOTW in my opinion. With another hair and earrings she would have been better!
i don’t like it so much – a little boxy around the waist and those beautiful diagonal gathers across the bodice have gone. I love her hair and jewellery, through, and she looks great in strong colours like this.
This was one of the looks that made my shortlist for Lea Michele to wear to the Emmy’s, but now that I see it, I’m glad Catherine chose it. Catherine pulls off such a full look with ease, grace, and elegance. Even on such a competitive week, I’m going to have a hard time thinking about anyone besides Catherine. Like Cate, Catherine exudes timeless glamour that I never get tired of. She puts all those trying-too-hard young guns to shame.
I agree, ‘timeless glamour’, she looks like her old self, just beautiful and definitly not trying too hard – absolutely a BDOTW contender for me.
Sorry, not BDOTW contender, in my opinion. The dress is too large in the waist; looking at the model, the most beautiful thing about the dress is the effect due to the tiny waist and the drapery which is oblique. C. Zeta Jones’ dress seems creased, that’s what I dislike. I don’t like her hair, too but maybe the hairdo is beautiful behind.
