Indian beauty Aishwarya Rai looked breath-taking at Roberto Cavalli’s 40th Anniversary Party in Paris last night.
She is the epitome of glamour and elegance.
The actress could have pulled off shorter Roberto Cavalli Resort 2009 dress as worn by Milla Jovovich and Paris Hilton, but instead she opted for the longer gown.
The silver fish-scale-like gown with fringed details along the bust was a perfect party look.
Wavy hair and an pop of colour courtesy of a blue satin clutch completed the look.

BDOTW… so beautiful… Its a re-run dress.. but I’m sure the designer would have been proud to see the dress come alive like this..
She is so pretty! Not lovin the dress though
This dress is incredible!
She looks so beautiful!
I love the clutch for a pop of color, but im not a fan of the shoes…but at least she didnt go with black.
I think she is another bdotw contender, dont you?
this week will have a very long list of nominees!
Perfection! Love the pop of color from the clutch.
I don’t like the dress but it’s nice that she paired with a non-black clutch. She’s giving me major hair envy though
lovely.. Its refreshing to see her in a glamorous avatar when everyone is going for the minimalistic look…… not that there is any problem with that
love her here….. i think I have found my BDOTW!!!
Gorgeous! I loved the shine that it made and her’s hair style and color.
I so want hair like that…
Volume volume volume and a good old curling iron.
This is something yet saw…Nothing new!!
I love that dress
She looks amazing, but again, how bad could she really look without making an absurb effort? Rita Wilson wore this dress to the Golden Globes in 2009, if i’m not mistaken
you’re right she did.
I like the dress, but it’s a little to shiny in the floor length version. I think that a material with this much sparkle should be worn full length. But, she looks amazing in it.
I LOVE this look and the clutch is perfect!!!
If I had to nick-pick I would say that the smoky eyes dont work with this look
Hmm I don’t like it much. Aish can do much better. I think the dress is fine but her hair colour is really bothering me, I somehow don’t like Indian skin and brown hair (saying this as an Indian). I think black hair suits her much more. But her clothes are lovely and she looks gorgeous if u disregard her hair.
EDIT I just saw some other pictures and she looks much better in those so I guess I like this look quite a bit, but not in love with it.
I like this look a lot. I prefer it as a long gown because it still has the showy elements that make it Cavalli, but the length gives it that touch of glamour that makes this look more classic and timeless. A great look on Aishwarya.
Ashley Tisdale wore this back in 2008.
She looks spectacular. I love everything, from her wavy hairdo to the sparkly gown to the blue clutch. She is my BDOTW!
