I was really happy to see Jennifer Garner wearing something other than the lumberjack shirt and the mom jeans she lives in when she’s “off-duty”.
This weekend she attended the 6th Annual Pink Party in LA wearing a Stella McCartney Fall 2010 ensemble.
Her daring look incorporated the fuschia satin tunic with a tail paired with a white paillette silk-organza skirt.
I want to say I love the look, but I’m struggling.
We ask celebs to take more risks and break up runway looks, but I don’t like the white skirt.
I always ask celebs to be more adventurous with their shoes, but her pink pumps complement the carpet more than her ensemble.
The final nail in the coffin are the pearl necklaces which are just way too much.
As Coco Chanel once said, “always take one thing off before you leave the house.”
In this case it should’ve been those 14 necklaces.

When I first saw this picture, I thought “It looks like she’s playing ‘dress up’ with her daughters.”
Eeek. Sorry, Jennifer, not good accessorizing.
Please don’t hate me but I actually QUITE like this look just because it’s funny and so cute! Maybe the necklaces are a bit too much, so are the shoes. Baby steps you know…
actually for me it is her shoes. she shouldnt have worn pink shoes
For some reason, when I saw this I thought she was auditioning for a role in “The Real Housewives” series. I don’t love this look at all.
lol…
Yuck
Her shoes and blouse don’t match, and her pearl necklaces are a different color than her skirt. FAIL. Now, separately, very cute.
She was so close to looking really good… sooo close. The color of those shoes just don’t work and her necklaces need to go. So close.
if it wasn’t for the necklace I overdose, I would have loved this look. Wish she had added some classier jewelry!
actually i kind of like the necklaces,it’s the shoes that make the look ridiculous.
I guess she didn’t get the note which classifies Stella as a minimalist designer.
Amazing she is wearing 4 different looks at once sadly none work together
she tries…….. thats all im going to say
I like this look but I think its the hair thats ruining it.
At least she didnt wear black pumps
I actually think she looks quite good. Different from her usual with a pretty, young look.
Even though I am not a fan of Stella McCartney, I can’t blame her for the look this time. It’s all about the styling, and Jennifer Garner looks horrible. I didn’t even notice that it was her at first.
Her stylist, Rachel Zoe right (?), should be reprimanded for allowing Jenn to walk out of the house with all of those necklaces with that busy skirt. One big, chunky necklace would have sufficed.
I love the skirt and blouse.
Whoever styled this HOT MESS of a get-up gets a BIG FAIL. Rachel Z., was that you???! BRAD step in PLEASE!
It’s a mess – everything is competing with everything and it’s giving me eye strain. The complete opposite to Leona Lewis at Cavalli’s show!
Try-hard. End of
I don’t believe Rachel Zoe styled this she must of styled it herself!
It was a “pink” party! So in keeping with the theme, I think she looks fantastic! Love the shoes, love the necklaces…her look is fun, youthful and original…I say bravo to Jennifer or whoever styled her! She looks absolutely beautiful, as always:)
For everyone who says Rachel did NOT style this HOT mess, read here: http://www.limelife.com/blog-entry/Rachel-Zoe-and-Brad-Goreski-Had-a-DramaFilled-Split/72044.html
Brad has left the building!
NO no NO! Almost 40 and trying to stay 28. Let it go Jennifer, embrace your age, 40 is fabulous!
