Marios Schwab’s Spring 2011 started with the sound of bikes revving before Nirvana “Smells like teen spirit” starting playing.
From the camisole dresses, to the choppy wigs and chunky Ergun Dundar ankle boots it smells more like Courtney Love.
The collection had a soft romantic side against a structured utilitarian spirit.
The romance came from the fluid silks and lace trims with the harder edge coming from the leather harnesses and tattooed images of snakes and symbols.
Apart from the dresses we saw tattooed leggings, fitted shift dresses and leather pants.

Love it! Such a pity this collection wasn’t around when Kristen was promoting The Runaways because it was definitely inspired by Joan Jett! The mullets!! This collection would also suit her moody red carpet face.. Maybe for her next film..!
