This fit for a Queen deep burgundy gown is embellished with shimmering gold crystal sequins.
I’m totally in love and in awe of this look.
I think it’s safe to say nothing is going to top this for me this year.

I think I didn’t see such an amazing look since Anne Hathaway’s Versace gown in Venice. Oh my god no, this is even better. I always thought Anne will be my number one til I die. But Cate is definitely better.

unreal. I am usually kind of confused of why people are such big fans of CB, but she just looks AMAZING. I am trying to think of anyone else who could wear this dress and even come close to pulling it off but I can’t.

Don’t get me wrong now….I’ve been a big fan of Lacroix’s work for a long time, and this look absolutely 100% reinforced that idea. Cate is so fashion-forward and avant-garde, that it is nearly impossible for me to pick a look she has worn that I didn’t like. From her gunmetal Armani Privé gown to her yellow Valentino, she just looks stunning in everything.
The only reason I bring up the Elie Saab Spring 08 Couture collection is because it’s one of my favorite collections in a long time, and there are a lot of dresses that I could see Cate wearing. The one I brought up, Look 44, has a color and uniqueness that I haven’t seen Cate wear before, but she would look stunning in.

i saw this gown in decaded day before. then i saw that it was sold.. i lazily speculated on the lucky person to have bought it i wondered if they will keep the tassel belt… and then i saw cate blanchett. its a strange feeling to meet someone u fantasise abt .. and there she was in my face ” yeah i bought this dress.. yeah i wore it backwards.. ” and all i can do is.. wonder hw did she get so lucky..
