Rachel Roy’s Spring 2011 collection was very versatile, wearable with a few red carpet worthy pieces included too.
Her collection embodied modern elegance with fabulous colour combinations and shapes.
With so many collections going neutral, Rachel will add both solids and patterns ranged between bold jewel tones like aqua blue, cobalt, teal and beetroot.
We saw day dresses, cocktail dresses, A-line skirts, pleated skirts, a peplum bustier over cotton shirt paired with cropped pants, two toned jacquard knit dress and tailored jackets.
With the clothes being so bright, there wasn’t much focus on accessories, but the models did all wear Rachel Roy multi-coloured heels.

Rachel Roy also presented a collection of trench coats.
The traditional coat got a make over from the designer.
There was many interesting twist, folds, pleats and one was sequined.
Front Row: Russell Simmons and Tiffani Amber Thiessen
Favourites: Aqua cascade gown and the aqua silk top with the cobalt pleated skirt
Who I See Wearing This Collection: Hilary Rhoda, Tyra Banks, Olivia Palermo, Keke Palmer, Kelly Rowland, Veronica Webb and Michelle Monaghan
