2010 MTV VMAs – Ciara In Givenchy Couture

Best Brand Ambassador Award
Ciara continues to put her best foot forward wearing Givenchy Couture.

I wasn’t initially excited about her being the face of Givenchy, but she wears their pieces really well.

This was definitely the case tonight at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards where she donned a feathered confection from the Givenchy Fall 2010 Couture collection.

Her look was elegant, sexy and befitting of a Givenchy girl.

I usually get the feeling that Ciara tries too hard on the red carpet, but that wasn’t the case tonight.

Pink wedges completed the look.

Great look. Whatever wind there was is highlighting the movement of the dress nicely. And kudos to her stylist for taking into account the white carpet. The styling is flawless for it. My fave Givenchy look Ciara’s worn.

Ciara staring in “how to make couture look like a costume from a cheap vegas showgirl act”.

  16. crazyme97 September 13, 2010 at 16:24 #

    LOOVVVEEE the gown on her.
but i think the Givenchy Spring 2010 nude wedges made the looks really heavy.
i prefer her in just a pair of nude pumps!!

  17. Sharon September 13, 2010 at 20:57 #

It isn’t just black pumps that bring a dress down. These clunky pink ones do the same thing. The dress is blowing so beautifully with the breeze and then thud!

why would Givency put this gorgeous dress on such a ghoulish and stiff looking model?
Ciara looks fabulous and I like that her dress is airy and thinned out on the bottom. Such a delicate dress pairs well with a delicate pair of shoes, not the clunkers Ciara is wearing.
