Adam Lippes’ inspiration for his Spring 2011 collection was Charlotte Gainsbourg’s character in “The City of Your Final Destination”

We were presented with many beautiful easy to wear pieces.

The key look for this collection was the high-waist pants which were flared and reminded me of sailor pants.

They were paired with blazers, tuxedo jackets, tank tops, shirts and blouses.

Chunky knits, cropped blouses, parachute dresses and maxi dresses made up this fresh clean collection.

The one piece which stood out for me what the red leather dress. It was a daring addition to this collection.

Models sported super-high ponytails which looked to be back-combed to give it a natural easy feel.

Key accessories included Manolo Blahnik gladiator heeled and flat sandals in orange, black, red and nude.

Favourites: Maxi dress paired with a grey tuxedo jacket with black lapels, chunky knit cropped sweater and the orange high-waisted pants
