The adorable Alexis Bledel walked the red carpet at the 2010 Toronto Film Festival to promote her new movie, “The Conspirator.”
She gave us our first look from the J. Mendel Resort 2011 collection.
Alexis tends to pick cutesy safe dresses, but she went for something bolder on this occasion.
Her midnight blue J. Mendel Resort 2011 bustier dress has a beautiful draped jersey wrap skirt.
I had to warm up to this look, but I do like it. She carries it well.
She teamed her look with Giuseppe Zanotti heels, House of Lavande jewelry and a vintage clutch.

It took me a minute to start to like it as well. It kind of reminds me of the William Tempest dress Emma Watson wore to the Tale of Despereaux premiere, but I like it!

I like the skirt and I love Alexis Bledel, but the top just doesn’t seem to have the right fit for her. I think it makes her look heavier than she is.
