Tadashi Shoji’s Spring 2011 presentation was inspired by the Renaissance frescos of Piero della Francesca and Botticelli.
His cool colour palette consisted of mostly ivory, stone, ice, baby blue and lavender.
I preferred the setting of this presentation over a runway show, because this way I could take in the elegance and feel the romanticism of the collection.
Water-colour caftans, off-the shoulder dresses, column gowns, asymmetrical ruffled dresses decorated with paillettes, lace and intricate embroidery were presented within this truly desirable collection.
Let’s pray we see this collection on the red carpet soon.
Favourites: One-shoulder grey gown with ruffles on the neckline and hem, plus the lavender one-shoulder ruffled mini dress
Who I See Wearing This Collection: Jayma Mays, Lea Michele, Kristen Stewart, Christina Applegate, Anna Kendrick, Amber Heard, Fan Bingbing, Lucy Liu, Dakota Fanning and Emmy Rossum

Love the one – shoulder ruffle mini dress too so pretty!
Could’ve sworn that was January Jones in the second last picture. The dress would suit her perfectly
I predict there will be many fights amongst stylists to get ahold of these dresses, because simply put, this collection is red carpet ready.
I can imagine Rachel Zoe and Jennifer Raid tugging at a dress
I can also see Angelina Jolie wearing either of the two dresses to the right in the main picture… not that I claim any accuracy with that guess
I love every single dress from this collection. STUNNING!
