I was really excited to see Sarah Jessica Parker wearing my favourite look from the Chanel Resort 2011 collection to the re-opening of the Chanel Soho boutique in New York City last night.
The “Sex And The City” star wore her nude and black striped dress with a Chanel jacket thrown over her shoulders.
I would’ve loved to have seen this look without the jacket, but I can pretty much picture it.
With her trademark wavy hair SJP carried a Halston silver bag and wore double strap platform heels.

Its great to see her back on the red carpet. I would have preferred a different but at least she didnt go bare footed
I love what SJP chose – it’s a surprise to me, and the way she styled it, unexpected also. But then that’s often the case with SJP – she manages to delight.
I, on the other hand, love the addition of the jacket since the dress would have been way to plain without it.
Love it, love it! I also wish she hadn’t put on the jacket. I’d like to see the asymmetrical shoulders/sleeves. Regardless, she looked perfect.
SJP’s hand placement doesn’t help the look. And with the jacket, I thought she was Rachel Zoe. But I still like the look. The colors work well on her.
I think its just the picture or her pose I can’t rly get a good look @ the outfit. But since it’s SJP + Chanel its always going to b amazing by default!
I love the dress. I don’t like the jacket at all.
