Japanese actress Rinko Kikuchi was in New York for the re-opening of the Chanel Soho boutique.
This follows her appearance on the red carpet at the 2010 Venice Film Festival were we saw her wearing Chanel Couture.
On this occasion she wore look from the Pre-Fall 2010 collection.
It so strange to see Rinko in something so conservative, but she manages to still add some attitude to this modified black dress with chiffon flutter sleeves.
She could’ve hardly worn the runway version, but I would’ve loved it had this dress been a bit shorter.
For someone so fashion forward, I’m constantly baffled as to why Rinko has been pairing all her recent looks with Trib Two’s.

Love the dress, agree about the shorter length
I love the print of the dress but I dont like the length nor the colour
Is there something around her ankle??
At first I thought it was the blousson waistline that was turning me off, but then I realized it was the length. Had it been shorter the blousson waistline would’ve made the proportions great.
Girl really likes to modify Karl’s clothes!
I don’t know if this is demure because of the print. I like the dress. My issue is the sleeves and the bow.
