Whilst everyone else at the re-opening of the Chanel Soho boutique in New York City opted for standout looks, Leighton Meester went subtle and sophisticated.
She could’ve had her pick from the extensive Chanel collections, but opted for a Chanel LBD which she simply decorated with a gorgeous statement necklace.
I’m surprised by her choice, but not disappointed by the results.
She looks amazing.

I love this – the way the chunky shards of the necklace relate to the cut out hem, and then for the rest, just simple, simple – we are getting more of these polished bare bones looks, and they really make a strong statement to me.
I totally agree. I used to get turned off by this kind of ‘bare bones’ look as you say, but its beautiful.
Leighton looks drop dead gorgeous. I much prefer this version of Leighton to the Versus wearing one.
I prefer the Versus version but both looks are so welcomed.

Though Leighton’s worn black a lot, this look is a real departure. She doesn’t look like she’s trying too hard. The dress is ladylike and lovely, but what made me fall in love was the necklace. It was the perfect accessory for this look.

wow she looks old here! The fake tanning is not working for her and neither is the dress! A shame really cause Leighton has an amazing body and face and could almost pull anything off!
