More than 1,500 guests viewed the largest public fashion show in New York City’s history with “Fashion’s Night Out: The Show” at Lincoln Center last night.
The event was held as part of the run-up to Fashion’s Night Out on Friday, and New York Fashion Week which starts tomorrow.
Leighton Meester was one of the many celebrity guests who attended this event.
I was glad to see the “Gossip Girl” actress giving us edgy without any ridiculousness we’ve seen in the past.
Her Versus Fall 2010 blue bustier dress with cut-out details is super sexy, vibrant and fitting for this celebration of fashion.
She paired her dress with Christian Louboutin Venus Orlato 140 ankle boots and a jeweled clutch.
I’ve never been a fan of Leighton’s hair on the set of GG, so I’m really liking the rich colour and the volume for this occasion.

First I didn’t like her dress, after I totally changed my opinion. She looks fabulous, her hair was perfect and the make up is simple e classy. Her shoes are awesome and I love the handbag.

i cant believe im saying this abt a versus.. but the overall look is cheap and wrinkly .. if a contestant made this in project runway, he wud b questioned for his “taste level” .. the shoes , bag and bracelet all match the hideous look..

I dont like this look at all. Its far too trashy for her and I would have thought that if she wanted to do ‘trashy’ she wouldnt have gone this way about it. Although I do like her hair here, she should have scrapped it back to show the cut out details. A big disappointment.

I actually like this look. Finally, Leighton has the right hair and makeup people. Some of her looks during her ‘pop star wannabe’ days were really hard to look at.

I ador ethis look, besides the shoes, and her hair is rightly full and glossy, since she is the faceof herbal essences. I also lov ethat sh emodifiedthe dress, having two strips at the top, not three, which I think would have looked too busy.
