2010 Venice Film Festival “Reign Of Assassins” Premiere – Pace Wu In Versace

Pace Wu was one of my favourites from the 2010 Venice Film Festival red carpet this weekend.

She looked outstanding at the “Reign Of Assassins” Premiere on Friday night.

Her one shoulder Versace Fall 2010 gown had my jaw dropping on the floor, like all Versace gowns should on the red carpet.

Her acid yellow gown with mirror panels was paired with a gold Versace clutch and Versace metallic gold sandals.

This isn’t an easy colour to pull off and to be honest I wasn’t sure we’d see it on the red carpet.

Pace wears it well considering the dress has so much going on with a split at the front and the back plus all those cut-outs.

Totally BDOTW worthy.

Wow, beautiful. I hope someone wears the royal blue Versace dress similar to this one. It will look stunning.

Love the color on her! I wish her hair wasn’t covering so much of it up though…

  3. mm September 6, 2010 at 15:32 #

She makes wearing this gown look easy. Stunning

  4. Parvati September 6, 2010 at 15:35 #

She looks gorgeous! I only didn’t like that her hair is covering the strap of the dress. She could gave styled it to the other side.

  5. allie September 6, 2010 at 15:35 #

very beautiful…love this dress…love this actress..

  6. Marvel September 6, 2010 at 16:01 #

LOVE the look but the hair on the shoulder strap is a bit annoying. But she look outstanding

  7. june September 6, 2010 at 16:09 #

i cannot believe she pulls this off. it’s such a difficult dress to pull off. i do wish i could see this with her hair up as well though, so we can see the shoulder strap

  8. Lee Ann September 6, 2010 at 16:48 #

On her BDOTW worthy but on anybody else probably not

  9. Nikki September 6, 2010 at 16:51 #

Wow! Just wow! She looks absolutely breathtaking. And even with the the dress being quite busy…or rather has a lot going on, she was able to pull it off. And what I love about this is that she looks sexy without even trying or looking like a sexpot. I’m looking at you B***e L****y.

      Blake Lively. Heee :)

Brilliant colour, so tricky to wear, she must get points for having the guts to do so. It looks like she’s got it shifted off to one side but it doesn’t take away how fantastic it is and how fantastic she looks in it.

My jaw!!! I can’t find my jaw!!!

    HAVE YOU SEEN MY JAW?!?!?!

  12. CreoleLady September 6, 2010 at 18:01 #

@Cheryl, ROTFLMAO! When you find your jaw, please help me look for mine…

Beautifully constructed gown in a difficult color that is completely pulled off – yep, the hair is a wee tiny bit distracting, but geez, how many bodies can make this dress work so well – she wins an award from me for being so awesome in it.

This took my breath away, it seems so soft, and the non-ostentatious pose really adds to teh magic of it all, I really hope someone (hopefully otehr than Blake Lively – sorry) wears the other pieces in this collection, and hopefully pull them off as well as pace wu did.

    • Dorian Gray September 6, 2010 at 20:06 #

I hope it too (but Blake is included in my wish list)

  15. Dorian Gray September 6, 2010 at 20:01 #

Thanks FC. You’ll give me sweet dreams tonight :-)

  16. Dorian Gray September 6, 2010 at 22:14 #

Maybe she had not the same WOW factor as Pace Wu but even Carina Lau wore Versace at her premiere and I think she looked amazing too. Don u agree FC??

You always comment on things I haven’t posted yet

      • Dorian Gray September 7, 2010 at 10:28 #

        You’re right. I promise I’ll have more patience :-)
However I think this Venice Festival overcomes Emmy Awards.

Breathtaking. I love the colour and the abstract arrangement of the mirror panels. Perhaps the back slit is just a little over the top. But she looks fantastic. Pity her hair is styled over the detailing on the shoulder.

  18. mikeijames September 7, 2010 at 05:24 #

bdotw easily. she OWNED this dress which ain’t easy consider how we’ve seen versace dresses wear a couple of starlets on the runway. finally, someone gets it right.

  19. Ayesha September 7, 2010 at 12:20 #

    TOTALLY LOVING THIS LOOK!!

  21. lou September 7, 2010 at 20:09 #

Amazing – drop dead gorgeous – I’m 99% sure this will be my BDOTW… what could possibly top this?!?!?!!!

  22. mochababe73 September 7, 2010 at 23:21 #

Not a fan of the style or the baby poop color. I don’t even know if this qualifies as a gown. If it were a different color and the back slit were eliminated, I would like it.
