2010 Venice Film Festival “Somewhere” Premiere – Sofia Coppola In Louis Vuitton

Sofia Coppola was the Director for “Somewhere”, which had its premiere during the 2010 Venice Film Festival on Friday night.

I wasn’t surprised to see the Director and Louis Vuitton bag designer wearing a Louis Vuitton Resort 2011 dress.

I also wasn’t surprised to see her wearing a modified black version of the lemon dress which was presented.

The black dress is more her style and more appropriate for a Director who doesn’t want to steal the limelight from the stars of the movie.

I love her understated textured dress and the chic accessories paired with it.

She made the perfect choice.

Not crazy about the dress (though I prefer the black version to the cream one), but I am in awe of her self-designed wedges. Perfect!

I like the black version of the dress, but I would have liked to have seen her in a different color.
The yellow dress is not pretty at all.

Always discreet, always chic! I guess Sofia could be a bit “boring” for fashion blogs, but I love her and her understated style. And I feel she perfectly represents us flat-chested girls with chicken legs. We’re real women, too :b

you’ve just got to love when a designer and his muse reach this level of symbiosis: seriously, she looks as comfortable in that dress as she does her own skin.
