Derek Blasberg’s Harvey Nichols “Classy” Book Launch – Alexa Chung

Alexa Chung is back in London and I’ll admit I’ve missed the husky voiced Brit TV presenter.

She attended a private dinner to launch Derek Blasberg book, ‘Classy’ which was held on the fifth floor restaurant at Harvey Nichols in London.

Alexa does that ‘thing that she does’ were she manages to look homeless and cool at the same time pairing a comfortable grey sweater with a mini leather skirt.

The rest of her look included open toe wedges and an on trend leopard print bag.

“Classy” by Derek Blasberg is exclusively available at Harvey Nichols.

i’m a bit fed up of alexa, she has been trying sooo hard, i used to like her outfits they had stng different, but now, she always seems dirty and her looks are worse and worse!

I really don’t get her phenomenon. She almost always looks like she didn’t brush and wash her hair and looks perfect example of malnutrition. And I don’t get her style either. Almost always heavy shoes with everything, clothes hanging on her like on a hanger…

      Completely agree.

I second that emotion. I have never, ever gotten her look. Her outfits never match the event. And look at her feet. It’s like she’s wearing Naturalizers. There’s nothing wrong with that, but she needed some jazzy shoes to dress up that drab gray sweater and the limp hair.
The only redeeming part of this “look” is the leopard bag.

Not the greasy hair again.. how anyone like that can be considered as a style icon is beyond me.

Lol. At first glance I thought it was Russell Crowe on the picture!!

Just to add. A style icon is someone who shows his/her personal style. It does not necessarily have to look good in order to be considered iconic.

No offense, but she always kind of looks like a junkie to me…
And there’s usually one thing to me that totally throws off her outfits! Like she’s trying to annoy me! Arrghh
