2010 Venice Film Festival “Norwegian Wood” Premiere – Kiko Mizuhara In Valentino Couture

I was really excited to see Kiko Mizuhara at the “Norwegian Wood” Premiere during the 2010 Venice Film Festival.

That’s because she made me fall back in love with the Valentino Fall 2010 Couture collection.

Talk about heavenly.

See what a touch of style, panache, poise and a smile can do to an amazing gown.

I was ready to put her Miu Miu look in the BDOTW poll, but I think this ethereal Valentino Fall 2010 Couture gown trumps it.

Mullet dresses were starting to turn me off thanks to January Jones and Jessica Alba’s recent red carpet runs. But Kiko shows them how to pull off this sometimes difficult look.

I always expect the big name movie stars to blow me away on the red carpet, but little known Kiko is my favourite at this event so far.

Some may says that her Valentino ruffled heels are a tad OTT, but I think it adds a lot to perfecting this look.

Thankfully all those stunning embroidered details are not lost in this picture.

I think Kiko is turning in to the Fan Bingbing of Venice Film Festival.

Love everything about this look except for the high neckline – how gorgeous would this be as a strapless dress!?

not only are the heels not over the top, they totally make this look. as far as mullet hems go, this one works; but on the whole it’s not a trend that i’m a fan of.
kind of wish it had been a boat neck though.

I love this!!! I actually think the shoes are perfect, if they were a different colour they’d be OTT, but they just add to the perfection of the look.
Please don’t take her Miu Miu dress out of the BDOTW poll! I hated that entire collection until I saw that picture.

She does make it look nicer than the model and has somewhat restored my faith in this collection

  15. lou September 3, 2010 at 23:44 #

Lovely – think she pulls off the dress much better than the model

Kiko totally sold it! The whole package, the dress, the shoes, the hair. Just a great look. But what do I know? I’m just her American Grandmother.

She sure did sell it. ;)
