Victoria Beckham was naturally the first to debut her own design, when she wore her Fall 2010 nude drape dress to the Range Rover 40th Anniversary party in London back in July.
The event saw the unveiling of the new Range Rover Evoque.
With her signature pose in place Victoria paired her dress with leg-lengthening Brian Atwood ‘Drama’ pumps and a chic updo.
Leighton Meester wore the same dress on the set of ‘Gossip Girl’ this week.
The actress paired her dress with Missoni heels, a Tiffany & Co ‘Galaxy’ embellished clutch and a chic half-up half-down ‘do.
I know you’re all expecting me to give this to Victoria, but I even with her odd choice of heels I much prefer this look on Leighton.
I’m not fond of Victoria’s pose and I much prefer the lower neckline on Leighton’s dress so she wins for me.

Despite accessorising more, Leighton looks so effortlessly charming and chic in it that she makes VB look a little try hard. And the lower neckline is definitely a much better look!
I agree with you, as much as a love VB’s style the neckline on Leighton’s version is much more flattering.
leighton…hands down
Leighton!
I also agree about the neckline. I also think it looks better on Leighton’s body and I agree with Danika that Leighton makes it looks more charming and chic.
Leighton looks way better than VB.
Maybe it’s the pose but well…
Yes that same pose every time! It’s funny when you see her do it from the side, it looks so obviously posed and fake, but from the front it looks far more natural.
Actually I must admit to having tried to recreate that pose in the mirror and I will give her credit – she’s obviously practised that A LOT because I found it very hard to make it look even a little bit normal! I looked pretty silly
It’s not just me trying it is it??
LOL…it tried it too and it’s almost impossible.
Glad it’s not just me!
I completely agree about the neckline. One thing I’ve noticed is that it seems like the skirt on VB’s version is different as the top part doesn’t appear to have the seam in the middle and looks almost like a band/belt…is that just the angle or is her’s just custom (w/ her being the designer I wouldn’t be surprised if it was)?
yes, I can see that. And yet Leighton’s WHR is way more accentuated than VB’s.
I love Leightons’ clutch and cuff but Vicky’s shoes are way better…can’t decide!
I adore the neckline on Victoria.
I don’t find Leighton sophisticated enough to wear this dress.
