Natalie Portman is still in Venice, Italy following her “Black Swan” Premiere during the 2010 Venice Film Festival last night.
Earlier today she mingled at the Hollywood Foreign Press Association cocktail party wearing a Jason Wu Resort 2011 dress.
Her purple French knot and crystal dot dress is yet another typically adorable look for Natalie.
I really wish those dudes would’ve let her take his picture alone, because I love the A line silhouette.
Black satin Christian Dior Resort 2011 heels complete her look.

I think the length is too long with the result that it is a rather boring look. Does nothing for her or me.
I agree. It looks shapeless.
I agree with Lee Anne, this just becomes any old shift like style(less) dress – back to Rodarte Natalie!
Cute as always, I love it!!!
I know it has nothing with this post but I have to tell you I’m SAD with Jessica (Alba) because she is GORGEOUS, she is really beautiful and has an incredible style but what happened to her? I have fingers and toes crossed hoping she will really wow us this week, hoping!
It’s okay. I still haven’t been wowed by her yet. It’s a little disappointing because I am such a fan of her style even though I wouldn’t wear it.
I would love to see a photo of her alone to see how the dress really looks on her. LOL!
But, I’m liking what I see!
It looks like a hospital gown.
My thoughts exactly…
if i remember correctly, those aren’t actually polka dots, but rather they are tiny embroidered flowers. the first lady wore a jason wu dress with the same detail a while back.
it’s a cute look on natalie, i like it; though it probably could stand to be a hair shorter.
Nat looked cute, but this dress didn’t impress me as much as the MM or MJacobs. I’m bummed that we haven’t seen Rachel Weisz (not a request for photo, but I haven’t seen her in any Venice coverage). Well, she and Darren Aronofsky are no media whores…
Natalie Portman is blessed with such beauty she would look good in a flour sack. This dress seems sweet, but I’m underwhelmed. It is a litle boring though I’m sure it was comfortable and easy to wear. Would have like to see her take it up a notch for a cocktail party.
Adorable is the right word.. just wish she had chosen different shoes
I think the dress is better suited on a curvy girl.
Absolutely adorable. Having a huge crush on her this week.
