Alberta Ferretti always has a strong showing on the red carpet at European Film Festivals, and last nights 2010 Venice Film Festival “Black Swan” Premiere was no exception.
Whilst model Elisa Sednaoui wore a look from Alberta Ferretti’s Special Gown collection.
Violante Placido and Jo Champa both wore looks from the Alberta Ferretti Resort 2011 collection.
Actress Violante Placido wore a blush chiffon Alberta Ferretti Resort 2011 gown which is a divine colour on her.
I prefer her thinner waistband to the models and I adore her gold accessories which include a gold Ferragamo minaudiere.
I’m not so keen on the cuff, but when her gown, hair and make-up are this gorgeous that is easily brushed aside.
Actress Jo Champa opted for an Alberta Ferretti white silk chiffon Resort 2011 gown.
I really love the poufy sleeves and the chantilly lace which decorates her décolletage.

I love European events such as these (but most especially the Venice Film Fest). It feels like they’re not even trying that hard to be beautiful or put together but they always look gorgeous. Can’t say the same for other red carpet events.
I love the colour on Violante it is beautiful but the bust looks ill-fitting. Jo on the other hand looks amazing.

I have loved Alberta Feretti for years. Her dresses are so beautiful, whimsical, and feminine. This is very much how I would rock the red carpet.
The first dress is absolutely beautiful, and Violante looks pretty in it.
While Jo’s dress is just as beautiful, it looks too much like a wedding gown for my tastes.
that peach gown is absolutely perfection; i like 10x better on her than on the model, and it was pretty fab on the model.
