Between the Emmys and Fashion Week which starts next week, somehow the 2010 Venice Film Festival almost slipped my mind.
The 67th Venice International Film Festival, organized by La Biennale di Venezia, starts today and runs until September 11.
When I think of Venice Film Festival Anne Hathaway in her stunning Atelier Versace gown springs to mind. I still see it as a benchmark for others to try to surpass every year.
Who will be there?
Natalie Portman has already arrived as she’ll be promoting her new thriller “Black Swan”.
We should expect to see her in Rodarte as Laura and Kate Mulleavy designed ballet costumes for the movie.
Jessica Alba is also already in town as she’s promoting “Machete”.
I’m also hoping to see Tilda Swinton who was in Paris last night promoting “Amore”.
I won’t be satisfied unless I see some more Gucci Premiere, Atelier Versace and Elie Saab.
I really missed some Elie magic at the Emmys on Sunday.
Keep refreshing your browsers as I’ll be updating as soon as the pictures come in.
I’m hoping there will be a lot to feature, so don’t forget to go back a few pages to keep up.
Whilst you’re waiting take a look back at the 2009 and 2008 Venice Film Festivals.
