2010 Venice Film Festival Opening Ceremony & “Black Swan” Premiere – Afef Jnifen In Gianfranco Ferré

Model and TV presenter Afef Jnifen arrived on the red carpet at the 2010 Venice Film Festival which celebrates the “Black Swan” Premiere this evening.

We more used to seeing Afef wearing low cut Roberto Cavalli dresses, but on this occasion she opted for a Gianfranco Ferré Fall 2010 dress with a high neckline.

I’ve been waiting for this collection to be worn on the red carpet for so long.

I LOVE the silhouette, but it appears you have to be flat chested for this look because I don’t like the way the gold sequin panel looks on Afef.

The star completed this look with her trademark tight curls and a gold clutch.

She looks great but she looked better at the Uomo Vogue Celebrates Quentin Tarantino event.

It is not fitting her around the midriff. You’re probably right about the flat-chested thing, FC.

I don’t like the a-line skirt on the dress it looks odd in comparison to the model.

There. This is my main complain with this look. Her skirt looks so stiff and hard comparing to almost weightless feeling that I get from the model’s.

The dress suits her well but she should have worn her hair pulled back. The dress would also look better a size larger.

She seemed to be wearing a different dress! But she looked better than the model. I like the silhouette created by her curves – beautiful. Oh, I can’t wait to see Black Swan! My boyfriend only wants to see the girl-on-girl, but I love everything directed by Darren Aronofsky.

What a shame, I love this collection too and admire Afef from her very first tv show “Nonsolomoda” (in english “not just fashion”)

I love this look as it appears OTR – on Afef Jnifen, I hate it!

The dress is ugly on her and the model. The sequined bib is horrible.
Can you imagine how stunning and statuesque she would look if the dress were another color without the bib?

It looks like she vomited sequins

I don’t like Afef ‘s style at all.
She’s regarded here in Italy as some fashion Icon but I think most of the stuff she wears is over the top and tasteless..

Well at least she didn’t wear one of her exaggerated Cavalli gowns this time..

Not a fan of the colour or the dress.

Ugly gown.. awful fit and I hate her hair

i’m going to be the odd one out and say this looks much better on the actress than on the model! not a great dress, but better on a real figure than the stick-thin model.

too tight around the middle, and the skirt is all wrong, too stiff and too trumpet like…would have been better and more modern if it had been more fluid and fell straight w/out the flare.
