Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Monthly Archives: August 2010

After wowing us on the red carpet at the 2010 Entertainment Weekly And Women In Film Pre-Emmy Party this weekend wearing an adorable red Luisa Beccaria dress, Jessica then went onto 3 other events this Emmy weekend.

She started off at The Art Of Elysium’s 2nd Annual “Genesis” Event.

Unfortunately for her the black background made it hard to make out much of the details on her beautiful black one shoulder cocktail Paule Ka dress.

This dress is ironically from Paule Ka’s ‘Black Carpet’ collection.

On the model you can clearly make out a bow on the waist, but not so much on Jessica.

Jess paired her look with black Sergio Rossi pumps, a black clutch and green Rina Limor drop earrings.

A black dress paired with green earrings continues to be a red carpet trend.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus sported this combination at the Emmys this weekend.

At the 8th Annual BAFTA/LA TV Tea Party the star arrived wearing an Alice + Olivia high waisted polka dot skirt from the Fall 2010 skirt with a black Topshop scoop neck vest.

Her look was paired with a black clutch, Scott Mikolay jewels, a Topshop sequin leaf headband and those Sergio Rossi heel again.

This is a fresh, cute and utterly charming look.

The final stop this weekend was AMC’s Emmy Awards After Party.

Jessica’s looked angelic wearing a Diane von Furstenberg Fall 2010 strapless dress.

The dress had been slightly modified from the runway to give more coverage on the bust.

This time she swapped her black Sergio Rossi heels for grey ones to match her dress.

What I love most about this dress, is the rosette detail on the skirt which is cleverly worked into the dress.

An Arianne Tunney silver clutch and Miriam Salat jewels completed her look.

Of all these looks her DVF dress is my favourite, but the Luisa Beccaria dress is my favourite overall.

Anna Paquin is becoming quite the brand ambassador for Alexander MQueen.

It’s a great fit as she has that mysterious aura surrounding her which helps her pull off the intricate pieces so well.

At HBO’s Annual Emmy Awards party, Anna arrived with her hubby wearing an Alexander McQueen LBD from the Pre-Fall 2010 collection.

The gorgeous cut of the dress gives Anna a strong and enviable silhouette.

Her pop of colour came via her Alexander McQueen Brittania Punk skull clutch.

The YSL Tribute pumps and House of Lavande bracelets she wore in to this party were also the same accessories she wore on the red carpet 2010 Emmy Awards.

After the show, comes the after-parties.

Why oh why didn’t Chloe Sevigny wear January Jones Atelier Versace dress?

She would’ve given the dress the attitude and shoes it deserved.

Instead the actress attended HBO’s Annual Emmy Awards Party which was held at The Plaza in LA.

She looked divalious wearing a Lanvin leopard print dress from the Pre-Fall 2010 collection.

Her long sleeved leopard print cocktail dress was paired with an Ippolita gold necklace with a matching bracelet.

The great choice of accessories continued with a red Amanda Pearl roll clutch – which matched her lippie – and Christian Louboutin ‘Madame Butterfly’ booties.
