Red Carpet Fashion Awards

When we think of festivals, we think of wellies, denim shorts, floral dresses and of course mud.

What we don’t usually think of is Louis Vuitton, but that changed thanks to Emma Watson and Katy Perry.

Now we can maybe add Chanel to the list.

Florence Welch of ”Florence and the Machine” was one of the many musical acts to perform at V Festival this weekend.

The flame haired singer opted for a chiffon embellished Chanel Pre-Fall 2010 floor-length dress which we’ve seen on Karolina Kurkova.

This is a very typical look for Florence who often wears fringed or flowy looks like this to add more movement and drama to her performances.

Her Chanel look is modified.

Like Karolina she opted out of the turquoise beaded details, but she also had the middle belly-button exposing sheer panel covered too.

It wouldn’t surprise me if most of the people who purchased this look opted for Florence’s version.

Not everyone get away with exposing their midriffs like supermodels Karolina Kurkova and Abbey Lee Kershaw.

Having helped organise Virgin’s V Festival a few years ago, I know what a massive coup it was for the organizers to have A list star Drew Barrymore hang out in their VIP lounge this weekend despite her not wearing the branded lanyard.

Boho chic would’ve been very easy for Drew to pull off, so she opted for a modern day Pocahontas look instead.

She looks like she born to channel festival chic pairing her suede fringed top with khaki trousers and brown riding boots.

No wellies here.

The ombre hair with plaits totally works in this setting so I’m surprised she opted to wear that brown felt hat.

Are you loving this look as much as I am?

Blake Lively as Serena Van Der Woodsen was spotted on the ‘Gossip Girl’ set in New York City last week running for a taxi.

This particular scene was filmed near Columbia University so I wonder if Serena will join her friends in college for Season 4.

The beautiful star wore beige Wayne skorts from the Spring 2010 collection which she paired with a blue Gypsy 05 v-neck blouse.

Her colourful look was accessorized with a marine blue Susanna Galanis necklace, slate grey Giuseppe Zanotti booties and a prune coloured YSL Roady patent leather hobo.

I love everything about this look minus the booties, because I don’t like the shape nor the colour with her look.

Shop Blake’s Gossip Girl look.

Wayne zipper skorts from ASOS US and ASOS International.

The new Porsche Cayenne was unveiled last month in The Forecourt of The Hong Kong Jockey Club.

Kelly Chen was their to add her gorgeous face to the unveiling of the Cayenne S, Cayenne S Hybrid and Cayenne Turbo.

The singer opted for black Miu Miu Fall 2010 ensemble.

Her runway look included a halter tunic with scallop detailing and a bow tied around the high neckline paired with skinny pants which flared at the base.

As much as I love this look and how Kelly pulled her hair off her face like the model, I’m also having and internal battle over whether she was right not to add any accessories.

Do you think accessories would’ve added more to Kelly’s look?
