Far From Being A Boring Black Gown Award
Usually we see Julianna Margulies wear Narciso Rodriguez, but Julia Louis-Dreyfus donned one of his stunning black gowns on the red carpet at the 2010 Emmy Awards last night.
Julia was nominated in the “Outstanding Actress in a Comedy” category for “The New Adventures of Old Christine.”
She wowed in her black column Narcisco Rodriguez dress with a sheer panel just above the midriff and a beaded bodice.
A black satin Christian Louboutin “Pharaon” clutch was added to her look, but she added some colour with her green Irene Neuwirth jewelry.

Not a fan of the dress on her, but the jewelry chosen = perfection
I didn’t see this, but then I only saw part of the Emmy’s……..wow, one of my favorites.
This “black dress+emerald jewelery” combo is very much Angelina Jolie’s RC trademark, but it works terrific on Julia too!!
With so many outstanding dresses, this one came across as a little boring to me. The dress is fine and Julia looks wonderful, but it was just boring. The jewelry helps, but not enough to make this a standout. The bar was set high this year.

I like the dress and the jewelry. The only thing that is wrong is that the sheer panel is a bit thick and high up. This does funky things to her boobs.
i love this! very elegant, and the jewels are slightly unusual but totally make the look! julia usually dresses well for these events, imo.
