Most Improved Award
I said earlier this week that “Glee” actress Jane Lynch has yet to wow us on the red carpet, well she wowed me at the 2010 Emmy Awards tonight.
I actually have goosebumps which is always way to confirm when someone looks good on the red carpet.
Jane wore a stunning eggplant Ali Rahimi asymmetrical gown which she paired with a Swarovski’s silver crystal clutch with 3-D flower detail.
The gown gives her a beautiful silhouette, the colour is great and she’s totally feeling her gown.
Much improved.

lovely.
The only thing I don’t love is the bottom. But the rest is pure fabulousity. Jane’s “Most Improved” for sure.
I agree – she looks great here, v much improved…but I do wish/hope she tries another material one day. soon.
i def don’t like it
I like her more that Jayma (too much golden jevels), purple is an uneasy colour but on Jane works well. I guess GLEE will win a lot of awards (although I side with MAD MEN)
I don’t like it. She looked like a giant eggplant. Why couldn’t she wear something fluid or loose fitting?
LOOOOVE. So elegant and royal and stunning. LOVE.
she looks great!
She’s on top of the world and it shows, the dress just enhances the shine that comes from within here. Great look. Love the details like the brooch.
She looks beautiful!!
this is a stand-up-and-clap moment for her. not everyone can have blockbuster red carpet moments every time, but she really stepped up to the plate with this one.
Definite improvement from last time, but the bottom seems very heavy, for such a tall lady she doesn’t really need bulky fabric around her hips and legs. Something softer and sleeker perhaps? Ditto for Glenn Close. Love the purple colour though.
I can ignore the terrible fabric and the bottom of the dress, great improvement. I wonder how versatile she could get with her hair though, it always looks the same to me.
Well all right!! As a Glee fan I was so wanting Jane to get it right!! This is starting to go on the good line: bold colours and regal attitude!!
Pretty color, and she looks nice in it. I don’t like anything from the waist down. However, for her, this is a wonderful effort.
I absoluetly love her and I thought that she would have ended up wearing a pant suit but kudos to her because she looks outstanding. I love the colour and her statuesque pose. Fabolous.
