Best Plus One Award
Emily Blunt seem to be keen to take a back seat and allow it to be her husband John Krasinski’s night at the 2010 Emmy Awards.
He’s presenting.
She stood quitely in the wings as he was interviewed wearing a gorgeous lavender Christian Dior Resort 2010 gown.
It looks like Emily has given up on her bling-tastic red carpet look and opted for a more serene red carpet look since getting married.
In the past she’s wouldn’t hit the red carpet without wearing a heavily embellished dress by a Lebanese designer.
Her one-shoulder Dior gown with white floral appliqués was teamed with a Lauren Merkin oval shaped clutch.
I adore everything about this look.
Her hair really gives this that old Hollywood vibe.

The Emmy’s have some beautiful fashion, and this is no exception. The color is great. And the detail isn’t overdone. Such a lovely look.
She looks great I’m this Dior dress, nice choice
what if this dress was a rich, deep red/burgundy? i feel like that’d be so great with her hair… but yes, beautiful look.
Whoa, how did I miss this look on the red carpet? I must’ve switched to another channel when E! cut to the trashy cast of Jersey Shore. Emily never lets me down and certainly not this time. Elegant and beautiful!
she was on screen for a about half a second. She really stood back
It was so cute how she just stood back and let him have his moment. But I wish she had gotten closer to the camera b/c you can see in this picture that she looks stunning. Love the purple. So happy that there were so many colorful gowns last night.
she is my favorite look of the emmy’s with claire danes coming in a very very close second
meh she looks nice, but i like the runway version better; the sheer sleeve detail and the color are better.
Agree fully, I think the runway version with the chiffon over the shoulder differentiates it from everything else, whereas by altering it she has made it look like half a dozen other gowns we have seen already, even though she does look beautiful as always and the colour is divine with the hair and eyes.
I agree. The sheer overlay sleeve made the dress stand out. Removing it was a mistake. She looks lovely, but I wish she hadn’t altered the design.
Beautiful!
I love everything about this, i just wish she would’ve kept the sleeve. That would have made it perfect.
I love it! She’s in my top 3 .
i love it so much! but then again, i usually like her choices. and after christina hendricks wore a similarly colored gown i wish i could see her in this one as well, just for fun.
perfect look. love everything about this and the colour is really gorgeous against her skin
One of the best dressed.. agree with allcomments.. she should have kept the sleeve. What a gorgeous colour though and love her hair and the clutch
Can’t wait to see who you pick as a winner on the “Who wore it better” against Paula EcheverrÃa…
Love the details, but the color washes her out a bit imo.
She looks beautiful in this Dior gown!
I like it a lot, BUT I hate her face!!!! Why does she have this awful expression on her face?! Can someone explain to me? She is beautiful, i hate when people try to make diferent expressions… it´s ridiculous! But i love the dress and the color…
The runway version is better. I don’t like the floral applicques, but the color is pretty.
I do like the dress on her despite the weird facial expression. I would have thought Emily had enough status for a resort 2011 collection. She does look great
