At the Sydney Town Hall in Australia this week, Kate Waterhouse attended Marie Claire’s gala opening catwalk show for Rosemount Sydney Fashion Festival.
Kate has impeccable style, she’s proved that during the Emirates Melbourne Cup Day and she does again at this event.
I love everything about her nude Alex Perry Spring 2010 dress from the way it’s sculptured around the neckline to the asymmetrical hemline and the subtle shoulder pads.
She let her dress do all the talking by just adding nude heels.
I adore this look and think it’s BDOTW worthy, but I really wish she had worn her hair up.
Thanks to Pavement Frippery for the dress ID.

No idea who she is but I LOVE this dress. I love the neckline and the hemline but cant help but wish she had put her hair back or up to avoid clashing with the neckline
I totally agree. She wore a beautiful dress and the shoes are divine too. Only with the hair she’s losing points.
xx.
Agree with the hair issue but it’s still such a gorgeous outfit it’s def BDOTW worthy!
But who is she??
thankyouuuuu fc!
i just loved it when i saw it & glad you did too.
Thanks for bringing this to my attention
She is the daughter of a famous Australian horse-racing trainer who became something of a style icon at her appearances at various racing carnivals. She is now described as a fashion journalist, media celebrity and socialite – always looking impeccable. I love her style.
Thanks Fiona. Nice to know their background too and not just love their style!
I LOVE this dress! Does anyone know what brand it is? x
My guess is that it’s Alex Perry. I will check!
Yup, here is the dress as it was presented at Australian Fashion Week earlier this year:

thanks so much. I’ve update the post
Cool combination from all designers from different industry but the beauty reflects from how the model/person carries him/herself which is based on blending from the top to the foot.
I like this look, BDOTW.
