62nd Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards – Christina Hendricks In Christian Siriano

Christina Hendricks continues to make me proud by maximizing her curves at the 62nd Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards.

The gorgeous “Mad Men” actress opted for a belted black Christian Siriano gown.

As much as I wish it was in another colour, like green for example, I must admit that the black adds to the drama.

No one does drama quite like Siriano.

A black Judith Leiber clutch and bold red lips complete this look.

I’m actually glad the dress is not green. The red hair green dress combo is becoming pretty commonplace and she’s done it before. This dress is perfect in black. She looks breathtaking.

She looks gorgeous. She has a strong presence on the red carpet. Great fit around bust this go around. Love the hair.

    Love the dress,love the silhouette,love the hair,love the make-up.

I’m might be the only one, but for me the dress is simply awful, I really hate this look

      You’re not the only one.

      I agree wholeheartedly

    Yeap, woman look gorgeous!

  6. JJ August 22, 2010 at 14:21 #

Stunning!!!!! Though a less severe colour would have sufficed.

  7. Lou August 22, 2010 at 14:38 #

Christina looks fantastic.here – she gets everything right – as sometime she has a tendancy to let her impressive bust dominate her look

  8. Kelly August 22, 2010 at 14:43 #

She is SO gorgeous….it always makes me so happy when she wears a dress that does her justice. Definitely BD @ this event for me.

Would have loved it in a different colour but she looks great. I think the main reason why she wore Siriano was to say ‘in your face’ to that blog who critiqued her last time.

I am not one for wearing black, but I love this dress. Christian Siriano made a dress that highlighted her small waist, emphasized the boobs, and made sure that she didn’t look hippy. That requires a genius designer.
    And the styling is perfect.

I love it – love Christian Siriano and the black looks beautiful against her skin and hair. The hairstyle is lovely, she makes me think of Moira Shearer in the
    Red Shoes.

Oh … The Red Shoes! I’ve recently bought the restored DVD for mom and realized just much we love the movie. Definitely see a little Moira Shearer in Christina’s look. She always reminds me of beauties in another period. She looked stunning here. Love the gown and her shorter hair.

She got it so right, she needs bulk in the skirt to balance her upper body and keep a good line. I love the black too – against her pale skin and red hair, it adds, as you say F.C., drama.

Until now I have never liked anything Catherine Hendricks has worn. Either they’re the wrong color for her, or they have too much volume, which doesn’t look good on voluptuous women.

This gown just doesn’t do it for me. For one, black and redheads don’t go well together. I can’t see her because what I first see is either the dress or her face. Not her, like as a whole. Second, the material reminds me of a trash bag.

But this I have to say, the silhouette of this dress suits her. And she does have a beautiful body.

  14. Laura August 22, 2010 at 17:26 #

The dress does great things for her waist. And with so much detail in the look, I’m happy she kept the color simple with black.

  15. Lee Ann August 22, 2010 at 17:51 #

Wow she looks like she should be on the prow of a ship!

  16. szymon August 22, 2010 at 18:38 #

I like the look. But is it me or does this dress look like sth V. Westwood could have made?

  17. Tania August 22, 2010 at 19:01 #

The dress looks stunning on her body, but another colour would have suited her better!

  18. Ben August 22, 2010 at 19:21 #

    BDOTW!

  19. SparkleBebe54 August 22, 2010 at 21:12 #

Holy Crap! Omygosh I think this has to be one of Christina’s best looks ever, though I do wish the color was spring green.

  20. molly August 22, 2010 at 22:10 #

Im in love. This is the perfect stle for her body!

  21. Alicat August 23, 2010 at 01:14 #

A dress totally suited to her voluptuousness. Stunning. Love her hair. (from another redhead!!)

  22. b August 23, 2010 at 08:09 #

I think the belt is a little bit out of place.

  23. dee August 23, 2010 at 15:36 #

She looks beautiful. One of the best looks I have seen on her.

  24. robbie August 23, 2010 at 17:19 #

she looks good, but the dress just looks like a vivienne westwood knock off.

  25. veronica September 3, 2010 at 20:31 #

This dress is so beautiful. I can’t wait to see his upcoming fashions for Spring. I found this contest where you can enter to win seats at his fashion show in New York. Amazing!

I think she looks like a hippo. This dress adds to her lovely weight but not in a good weight. It’s like a trash bag glued tight to her body. NOT digging this.
