Katie Cassidy, the newest addition to the ‘Gossip Girl’ cast for season 4, was spotted in New York City filming a scene with the dashing Chace Crawford.
They both look very smart, no doubt going to a society party in this scene.
Katie wore a Bibhu Mohapatra Fall 2009 strapless gown.
The printed chiffon gown which drapes down the back has a gold band around the waist.
Purple accessories including a Nancy Gonzalez crocodile clutch and Brian Atwood ‘Maniac’ pumps complete the look.
I like the clutch. Not sure about the shoes, but I know I don’t like the necklace.
It feels like one thing too much when so much is going on with her look colour-wise.

Looooove the dress and everythign about this look EXCEPT the shoes!
They have nothing to do with the rest of the outfit..
The softer colour of the clutch works much better.
I would have used black or dark blue shoes here.

I like the colour of the accessories but wish they didnt look so heavy. Seeing as how on the show, she isnt going to be shown in a long shot but rather a medium close up, I think the necklace was there to add some pizzaz.
i love this dress and i absolutely hate the shoes way too heavy for this dress, also i ,ove the necklace but again not with this dress it seems (agai) too heavy and also too musch colour.

I really love this dress as it appears on the model, not so much on Katie.
They really seem to have made her character into a boring one. Lets hope she is not th enew bree (was that her name?)
She gets really boring clothes, and considering how beautiful and glowing Katie usually is, her makeup appears to be doing nothing for her. Did they maybe fire the makeup artists, first Clemence now Katie?
Budget Cuts?
I’m guessing she’s not getting the same Oscar de la Renta gowns as Leighton because maybe her character is not well off like the Waldorf’s.
The dresses are loaned (I assume) so I don’t think something like budget cuts would be an issue in the wardrobe dept.

I am the only one who is loving the entire look.. even the mismatched shoes
