Shoes Upstaged Your Dress Award
“Pretty Little Liars” actress Lucy Hale also opted for ankle boots on the red carpet at the 2010 Teen Choice Awards.
The cute brunette wore a Paule Ka LBD with a chiffon skirt, sequin embellished bodice and belt detailing at the shoulder and the waist.
As much as her dress has some much interesting detailing, her Ruthie Davis Spike Dark GaGa heels steal the limelight.
These shoes are not for the faint hearted and I would advise that you wear these bad boys at your own risk.
The spike ankle boots, or shoetie as the designer calls them are embellished with Swarovski crystal embellishments.
I first saw these heels at the Dennis Basso Fall 2010 presentation and instantly imagine them on Rihanna or Lady GaGa.
Who would’ve thought this cutie would be the first to wear them.
The 2010 Teen Choice Awards airs on FOX tonight at 8:00-10:00 PM (ET/PT).

I have to admit that Pretty Little Liars is my guilty pleasure. Not only do I love Lena’s style on the show, but I am loving her on the red carpet as well! Gorgeous.

I like the dress but as usual, the ankle boots cut her legs short and while the shoes are nice (from the back), they look really boring from the front.
Such a cute smile though.
I think the ankle boots are supposed to be plain from the front so that the attention goes to the back of it.
I couldn’t use those shoes, I would harm myself, no matter how hard I’d try not to!!
Anyway they are kind of funny, but no way matching then with that dress.

Pretty Little Liars is my guiltiest pleasure. I don’t think anyone in my house even knows that I watch it. I record it and watch it after everyone goes asleep. I don’t miss an episode. Aria is definitely my favorite character.
