We’ve seen many colourful looks from Leighton Meester on the set of Gossip Girl, but she decided on a more neutral look on the red carpet at last nights 2010 Teen Choice Awards.
It’s been a long while since I loved a Leighton Meester look.
From wearing a long sleeved leather Chanel dress in 100 degree heat to scary make-up, Leighton had kinda lost her way on the red carpet.
I’m glad she’s finally realized that ‘we get it.’ We know she’s not Blair Waldorf and she doesn’t have to dress edgy just to prove that.
She wore a white long sleeved Emilio Pucci Resort 2011 mini embroidered dress which had a fringed detail on the front.
I loved her Christian Louboutin mesh embroidered peep-toes with pom pom.
I usually hate white shoes with a passion, but these get a pass as they are so cute.
Cathy Waterman jewels complete her look.

I adore those shoes. They remind me a bit of the pom-pommed cheerleader shoes in Toni Basil’s Mickey video, in a good way.
I adore the shoes, and am very glad she isn’t forcing an “edgy” look on the red carpet (especially with that horribly heavy make up she was wearing before). The only thing I would change is a little more shape to the dress since she has such a great figure.
LOVE those shoes. I want them in white, black and pink. Although at this point I’d take any pair of Louboutins I could get my hands on!

I always love her style and this is no exception! I MUST have those shoes.
Simple, sexy, summery and fresh look which I love. I’m glad she left edgy, black, leather stuff and went with this look. She looks the prettiest just like that, simple yet stunning.
Shoes are definitely interesting and that is another thing that we can expect from Leighton, because she’s not the one who play it safe on the red carpet. This time it paid off.

I like the shoes and glad she isnt trying to be ‘edgy’. I do think the dress is terrible. It has no shape and hate how ‘mumsy’ it looks. Only saving grace are her heels

Gorgeous!!! Her face, makup, dress, but i’ll be in minority and say, i hate the shoes. So distracting from everything else.

Sorry, but I really think this look is deflated by the prim hair, make-up and sugary smile.. I think Hanne Gaby makes the dress look fierce, whereas Leighton just looks bland.. It’s such a pity too, the dress and shoes are amazing!
It kind of looks like a short housedress with pom pom slippers. The model makes it look good though.
normally id dislike the shoes with the pompom, but in this case they look so cute with the dress that i love them!!
