Eva Mendes Day In LA Wearing Madewell, Oscar de la Renta & Lanvin

Eva Mendes had a very busy day in LA yesterday promoting her new movie “The Other Guys”.

She started off giving us a sexy pout as she arrived at LAX airport wearing a Madewell floral dress with tan heels and her peachy Christian Dior Fall 2010 bag which she’s grown very fond of.

The shades reminds us she’s a star in her cute inexpensive floral dress.

Eva was spotted carrying the same bag again as she prepared to make her appearance on the “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” show.

Her Dior bag matched her Brian Atwood blush suede ‘Contessa’ pumps which she wore with her Oscar de la Renta Fall 2010 dress.

The floral silk taffeta dress uses the same print from the runway gown for her effortlessly chic uptown look.

Keeping with the uptown sophisticated theme, Eva appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” wearing a green Lanvin satin dress with a ruffled neckline which cascades down the front of the dress.

She wore her favourite Brian Atwood blush suede ‘Contessa’ pumps again with this look.

On the show she talked about her mother follows all her looks and critiques what she wears from her hair to shoes, much like I do.

I wonder if her mother agrees that the pink lips she wore on this show didn’t work with her green dress.

I love the second look–don’t like her Dior bag at all

In real life the bag is stunning although personally I prefer the smaller version. I agree I don’t like the bag in this picture at all because it looksalmost like she is carrying a Duvet cover .

Totally agree about hte pink lips, I also don’t really like the shoeswith the dress, given that she could have worn ones which complemented the dress better.

I do like all looks but I can’t help but feel that she is becoming slightly more conservative and less ‘in your face’.

I always find her looks kind of boring and I don’t see her as being as gorgeous as everyone says she is.

Love Eva in this sequence. Varied lengths, silhouettes, prints and a solid, nice footwear, and sexy-classy. Love, love…

I love the bag because it’s such a pretty color.
I really like both dresses on her. Eva’s choices have been a little flat lately, but both of these are a step in the right direction.
However, I do wish that she would step out of the box a bit. I don’t know if Eva really has a style or just a pretty woman wearing pretty dresses.

But isn’t that a style? She wears very elegant clothes and looks good in them- Dior, lanvin, Oscar are her. I’d worry if she wore Balmain or Marant.

I agree I would worry too

Like I said, I just want her to step out of the box a bit. It’s okay to take a risk sometimes. But, hey, she can go the way of Jennifer Aniston. I love her style, too, but sometimes, I would like to see something different.
