Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Kyra Sedgwick arrived at the Ed Sullivan Theatre in New York yesterday to make an appearance on ‘The Late Show with David Letterman’.

The first thing that occurred to me was that the actress wasn’t wearing L’Wren Scott.

Kyra has long been a fan of L’Wren Scott’s figure hugging dress.

On this occasion she worn an Antonio Berardi Fall 2010 figure hugging dress.

I guess she loves to show off that well toned body of hers.

Her brocade printed dress has a black panel going down both sides of the dress, this panel tricks you into believing her exposed bra is part of the dress.

From the runway picture, and the picture below it’s clear that it’s not.

Despite the heavy print this look is not a huge departure from Kyra’s usual style, which is why she looks so great as she knows what works best for her.

I will have to give her a huge thumbs down for her footwear choice.

I’m really hoping Casadei heels don’t become the new Trib Two’s.

Last night many gorgeous stars celebrated “Oceana” which was hosted by Louis Vuitton and Vanity Fair in LA.

The Louis Vuitton Spring 2010 collection was hard to love. Some of you have expressed your dislike for this collection on many occasions.

I’m sure you will agree that Kristen Bell picked one of the best pieces from the Spring 2010 collection to wear at this event.

She would’ve brighten up the room wearing a blue and white tie-dye Louis Vuitton Spring 2010 dress with mesh sleeves.

Every thing about her look was light and summery from her white clutch, to her slate grey heels.

January Jones opted for a Louis Vuitton Resort 2011 ensemble which included a black organza blouse paired with high-waisted pants.

I’m not surprised she picked this look as many of the other looks from this collection are very Betty Draper-esqe, and we all know how hard she tries to remind us she’s not Betty Draper.

I love both looks. Summery (Kristen) and sophisticated (January) and not a hint of try hard.

We’ve seen Blake Lively as Serena van der Woodsen and Leighton Meester as Blair Waldorf shooting scenes for ‘Gossip Girl’s’ in Paris, but the other star are hard at work as well.

Jessica Szohr as Vanessa Abrams was spotted filming in New York City yesterday with co-star Penn Badgley as Dan Humphrey.

Vanessa’s style doesn’t appear to be changing for Season 4.

She’s still channeling boho chic with an ethnic twist.

On set she wore a Nanette Lepore Wild West dress with an ikat print and a True Religion Leah vest.

Her accessories included on trend Stuart Weitzman studded clogs and a multi-coloured Aurélie Bidermann necklace.

Excluding the fringed bag, I really like how this look was accessorized.

This weekend golden girl Kylie Minogue was at club G.A.Y in London where she performed a special late night gig for her fans.

The pop princess looked spectacular wearing a gold The Blonds Fall 2010 corset mini dress on stage as she wowed the crowds with a set of songs from her new album, “Aphrodite”.

The Blonds have many celebrity fans including Rihanna, Fergie, Katy Perry and Holly Madison.

I wonder how Kylie was able to perform without poking herself on those spikes.
