Whilst some of us can’t wait so swap our jeans for denim shorts when summer arrives. Others shudder at the thought as it evokes images of Britney Spears wearing her denim shorts with a tank top sans bra.
Thankfully we have people like Rachel Bilson to show us the right way to wear denim shorts.
I’ve only felt the need to own one pair of denim shorts – which I only tend to wear on vacation – but Rachel Bilson owns several pairs in different lengths and colour washes.
The key to this look is to keep everything else simple.
Rachel does that as she pairs her shorts with simple tees, plaid shirts and sandals.
Yesterday she added a pair of Lanvin pom pom sandals to add a touch of colour to her look.

I own a couple of pairs but I absolutely hate it when people buy really short versions of it and you can see the lining of the pockets peeking out of the shorts.

I love denim shorts. I am not a fan of Rachel’s style, but she looks cute in her little shorts, and I like the fact that she changed them up.
However, I still find her quite boring.
I like to wear shorts very much.
