Fan Bingbing continues to take my breath away every time she graces the red carpet.
The Chinese actress attended the “2010 Elle China Style Awards” which was held at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in Shanghai.
She blew me away wearing a pink Bottega Veneta Fall 2010 dress.
I love the way she modified this dress slightly to become a one shoulder dress. She often styles her looks slightly different to the runway, which shows she has great style and knows what works best for her.
She did however carry the same pink clutch which matched her pink lips.
Fan was crowned “Women Of The Year” at the event. I can’t say I’m surprised.

i’m not a fan of her hair though. her hair makes her look older than she normally looks.
love love love it! she looks gorgeous and the colour is great on her
not a fan of the dress, clutch or hair.
Shes gorgeous but i wonder if she would look better with less eye makeup..
I love when asian women wear this shade of pink. Shu Qi looked good in that color last year too. WORK @ FAN!
absolutely breathtaking!
I love the color, she looks gorgeous. I think there is too much fabric, put she pulls it off. Make and hair do make her look mature but I love the look. Fan Bingbing is at the top of my list so far for best dressed of the year.
Exactly what I was thinking! So far, no one has come close to Fan Bingbing!
And definitely BDOTW for me too!
love it! she is slowly becoming my fashion icon. the only problem here is the make up. the pink lips and the heavy white powder is kinda silly with this look.
I like the look. My only issue lies with how cumbersome Bottega Veneta dresses can be. It seems to widen Fan a bit. But the dress is a beautiful color for Fan.
OMG. Now this is what I call a BDOTW contender. She looks divine. Even though I am a big hater on pink dresses, this is just amazing and looks so much better on Fan than it does on the model.
Definitely. And that’s an achievement in itself!!
I’ve never heard of Fan Bingbing before your site but i LOVE every fashion move she makes now!!! Stunning!!! Her lips, her hair, the way she carries the gown…OMG!!!
I think she looks beautiful, elegant and timeless. The shade of pink is exquisite and highlights her skin and hair, definitely BDOTW contender.
DIVINE!
I love how Fan modified the dress. I think she look breath taking.
I like that she modified the gown to a one shoulder. It looks better. Love, love, love the dusty pink color.
With that bein said, I think that the dress has too much fabric. It just looks heavy.
Not a fan of the matchy looking, but she looks really good – though the whole ensemble ages her a bit. There is some classy old fashioned sofistication there, like she is an actress from one of those 50′s movies.
she looks amazing for me it’s BDOTW material.
“Jaw Drops”… shes breathtaking
LOVE IT!
BDOTW contender!
She is flawless, indeed. BDOTW.
WOW!!speechless
GORGEOUS!!!
This was one of my very favourite dresses from Bottega’s 2010 Fall collection.
This pink colour is incredibly elegant yet feminine and cute.
BDOTW all the way!
This gown on Fan is much better than on the model, inclufing the color and style“““““GORGEOUS!!!!
I think I’m in love with her
There is far too much fabric and I hate that shade of pink, so Im probably in the minority, but no BDOTW contender for me
Finally! i thought i stepped in a twilight zone. She looks awful and that hairdo!!! yikes
I’m with you too Marvel.
I wrote almost the exact same thing that you did. It’s too much fabric.
Great minds think alike.
I adore this woman’s style. BDOTW for sure. Although, I could have done w/out the matchy-matchy clutch.
Definitely a BDOTW contender. It’s going to be a good contest this week!
she’s on her way to being named best dressed of the year —- she looks incredible.
i think fan bingbing prefers the soft and tres-feminine color which makes her marble white skin color stand out. lacy, ruffles are her favorite, i guess, if you’ve been following her couture appearances you’ll know. not to mention that she can also get a stunning look in black and white with her signature red lips! her complexion looks pretty in these soft tone/ nude colors. but of course, she’s also daring to make some bold and confidence statements in eye-grabbing pieces like the dragon robe dress and the LV avant-garde gown in 2009. she’s never boring. and that’s why she deserves our attention!
Fans dress in the original style is available at net-a-porter
it’s a different version and a different colour
i like this skirt very much. pink pink
let the hair down, will be better_
