Penelope Cruz Marries Javier Bardem In John Galliano

It’s been reported today that Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem secretly got married in early July.

If you’ve seen their electric chemistry in “Vicky Cristina Barcelona” you will know that these two are clearly made for each other.

The news is that Cruz’ wedding dress was designed by longtime friend, fashion designer John Galliano.

This surprised me.

Not that Cruz and Galliano are friends, but because you have to search back to 2006 for the last time Cruz wore a Galliano gown.

She wore the strapless lemon Galliano gown in the picture above to the “Volver” premiere during the 2006 Cannes Film Festival.

If the dress is anything like the one above, I’m sure the bride looked amazing on her wedding day.

Congrats to the happy couple.

Whoa you worried me there for a second. I saw the head line scrolled down saw the man face and thought “whoa he has aged”. Then realised it was the director. Beautiful dress.

I can’t wait to see pictures of her dress! I also hope to see Carrie Underwood’s dress, although I think it was not as beautiful as Penelope’s

I saw both of them in an airport lounge a couple of months back at LAX. She looked like she just got out of bed, tousled hair and flip flops, hiding in the folds of a mac, and was still drop dead gorgeous. No need to point out that he was, too, is there?
