Marion Cotillard and co-star Leonardo DiCaprio were in London last night for the premiere of their new movie “Inception”.
I wondering how I was going to sugarcoat this, but I’m just going to be honest and say that I absolutely hate this look.
From head-to-toe this is a disaster in my eyes.
Those of you who know my taste won’t be surprised about my feelings towards this look.
Kate Winslet would’ve never taken to the red carpet alongside the dashing Leonardo looking this bad. If anything she raised her game.
This Thakoon Pre-Fall 2010 print dress doesn’t work for me on the red carpet for a major film premiere. It just doesn’t belong.
Yes complaints are made that she only wears Dior, but I would’ve preferred a Dior re-run to this.
It just feels like a really lazy effort.
I’m soy disappointed in Marion.
It’s like the “Nine” premieres all over again were expectation were high, but quickly shattered.

Huh? This is good ONLY for a beach resort
I disagree completely. It is relaxed, it is sort of quirky, and it is gorgeous. It works perfectly with the accesories. It’s got personality and it’s different from the stuffy, constricted looks you get from so many red carpet characters.
I completely agree with you. This is an edgy dress. She seemed to like try to make it more lady-like and watered down, and it just doesn’t work. I personally think a quirky girl would look okay next to Leo in an unconventional outfit, too. Because Leo is just doing his thing, and so would she. They’d both be themselves. The problem here is that THIS is not Marion and on top of that it clashes with Leo’s vibe.
I thought Ellen Page looked even worse, though. She’s just so tiny and… not in a petite, but in a ’5-year-old’ way. Nothing for red carpet works right on her. I really thought pictures of Leo with Marion and Ellen on both sides of him were completely ridiculous. like WTF is this real life? Poor Leo.
I don’t think it was too bad. Not my favorite look, but it was fine.
Word. I don’t hate the dress per se, though I agree with another poster that it could have looked much better with different acessories and hair, but the main problem is that DiCaprio is *always* very formal in eventes like and raises the bar.
