Zuhair Murad is the other designer I eagerly await during Couture Fashion Week.
His Fall 2010 Couture presentation yesterday was titled “Romantic Intimacy” as it was inspired by the boudoir of the belle époque.
The colour palette included powder pink, rose, blush nude and hazed aqua.
Each look sensually embraced the female form from body contouring dresses, to ultra minis, to ballgowns accentuating the models tiny waists.
As a girl who loves embellishments I was in heaven. Nearly every piece was bedazzled.
My favourite look had an amazing pearl detail on the back.
One of the trends was mini dresses paired with dramatic trains.
Many of you have expressed your dislike for this type of dress, but I was particularly in love with the middle peachy look.
The embroidery and sensual materials such as silks and delicate lace all played nicely along with the boudoir theme.
His bustier dresses look like they belong in the bedroom, but I’m positive Katy Perry will bring these looks to the red carpet.

Speaking of Katy Perry, the bride’s gown had a very dramatic train.
Rumours are that Zuhair is going to design Katy’s wedding gown. Could this be a preview?
