Blake Lively Front Row @ Chanel Fall 2010 Couture

Blake Lively gave us no surprises when she attended the Chanel Fall 2010 Couture presentation.

The blonde Californian babe looked like she was headed to a party on a St Tropez beach wearing a floral Chanel Resort 2011 dress with colourful beaded straps.

I have a feeling some of you may feel this look is too relaxed for a Couture presentation, but I think was the prefect look for her easy breezy relaxed approach to fashion, and the current heatwave we are experiencing here in Paris.

I’m glad it wasn’t too structured and that her look doesn’t make her appear like she was trying to hard.

She paired her tiered dress with nude Christian Louboutin Alta Spritney sandals.

She again opted for flawless make-up and some stand out earrings.

Love the elements of the ensemble separately but not in this combination on Blake. She makes it look far too beachy and casual for a couture show. This wouldn’t look inappropriate at a party on a yacht. The hair is just disgusting, as though she didn’t even pull a comb through it after getting out of the shower. Sometimes Blake hits it out of the ballpark fashion-wise, and sometimes she’s a a total mess, such as here. Leighton Meester wins this round hands-down, in my opinion.
