As much as I loved Ciara’s Balmain dress on the red carpet at the 2010 BET Awards, I MUCH prefer her second look.

Ciara didn’t perform at the event, but she did introduce to El DeBarge.

She looked stunning wearing a red Dsquared² leather tube dress from the Fall 2010 collection.

The dress has a gathered detail which almost looks like a rose on the runway, but Ciara just let the detail hang.

I wish she’d styled it like the runway, but I also like it without the belt.

What I love most about this look are Ciara’s Dsquared² spine heels from the same Fall 2010 collection.

I expected Rihanna to be the first to wear these heels, but both Ciara and Alicia Keys have rocked them before her.

Queen Latifah was the gracious host of the 2010 BET Awards, so she had several wardrobe changes.

One of her looks was a beautiful Edition by Georges Chakra Spring 2010 gown.

She looked stunning in her black crepe fitted gown with silver stone embellished shoulder details.

Monica shut it down wearing a black Alexandre Vauthier Spring 2010 Couture dress.

I know many of you are o.v.e.r bold shoulders, but I thinks this is one fierce look.

I love the pussy bow to add a touch of chic elegance.

Despite not being a fan of thigh-high boots, I think they work perfectly with her dress.

Keyshia Cole rocked the stage wearing a black sleeveless top with a tomato red Willow Fall 2010 asymmetric draped tulle skirt.

Miranda Cosgrove proves that she loves the Versus Fall 2010 collection.

Her first look was at the 2010 MTV Movie Awards, the second at the “Despicable Me” LA Premiere this weekend.

When I look at this, it’s clear that her Versus Fall 2010 black pleated skirt and plum velvet top was deliberately picked as not to clash with the yellow red carpet.

Had she worn the red or blue dresses from this collection the contrast would’ve been too harsh.

So no grumblings from me about another black summer dress on this occasion.

This look is cute without being too sweet, and grown up without looking like Miley Cyrus.

Christian Louboutin Georgineta heels and Neil Lane jewels complete the look.
