Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Montblanc Ambassador Eva Green attended the Mariinsky Ball of Montblanc White Nights Festival in Russia on Saturday.

The French actress who’s not afraid of print nor colour, glowed in the sunshine wearing this red and white Alexander McQueen Spring 2010 strapless gown.

I love the vibrant print on Eva, but the dress appears to be surprisingly overwhelming her.

I think she needed was a belt to define her waist like the model.

I also would’ve preferred this look with her hair push back of her shoulders and with a bare neckline.

Not many would take on this type of gown with such confidence.

Olivia loves to dress up, but even her dress down look is effortlessly chic.

Last week ‘The City’ star attended the “Civic Leadership Spring Benefit” in New York looking cute wearing an Topshop embellished cardigan over a Diane von Furstenberg top.

She added so crispy white summer shorts and peach Aldo Starace sandals to complete her evening summery look.

The following day she was spotted out in New York filming scenes for ‘The City’ wearing a very simple look including a navy blazer, white tee and khaki J Brand jeggings.

Her high end accessories complete the look as she added a tan Hermes Birkin and wore Lanvin cap-loe leather sneakers.

I think this is the most casual I’ve ever seen Olivia

It was mostly an all black affair on the red carpet for the “Dolce & Gabbana’s Men’s 20th Anniversary” held during Menswear Fashion Week in Milan on Saturday.

Monica Bellucci looked like panther purring in her black satin and lace Dolce & Gabbana gown.

Peaches Geldof wore the same Dolce & Gabbana fringed dress from the Spring 2010 collection we’ve seen thrice before on the red carpet.

Penelope Cruz, Dita von Teese and Eastenders actress Emer Kenny have all worn this dress with varying levels of success.

With her hair worn up in a chic updo Rachel Weisz dazzled on the red carpet wearing a sequin strapless Dolce & Gabbana mini dress with black strappy sandals.

Juliette Binoche wore a black satin ruched Dolce & Gabbana cocktail dress paired with a black crop blazer and black satin pumps.

Stefano Gabbana, Camilla Alves, Matthew McConaughey, Letizia Moratti, Giovanni Terzi, Domenico Dolce all posed together on the red carpet prior to the event.

Camilla and Letizia Moratti clearly didn’t get the all black memo.

Camilla wore a white chiffon Dolce & Gabbana cocktail dress with jewel detail, whilst Letizia wore a red satin Dolce & Gabbana dress.

Margherita Missoni was my favourite on this red carpet, mixing her mustard leopard print Dolce & Gabbana dress with leopard print heels.

Eva Herzigova wore a leopard print and polka dot Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2010 ensemble.

I’m usually more excited about what Anna dello Russo wears, but I don’t feel that on this occasion.

Her fringed black Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2010 dress is very subdued for someone with such a daring fashion sense.

Other guests at the event included Morgan Freeman, Chace Crawford, and Nick McCarthy from Franz Ferdinand.

Surprisingly Madonna wasn’t there.

January Jones was the first to wear this Gucci Spring 2010 Ikat white and pink dress when she attended a Golden Globe Awards party in January.

Taraji P. Henson wore the same dress last week when she attended “An Evening at Cipriani with Mary J. Blige and Friends” at Cipriani Wall Street in New York.

January opted for the girlie approach pairing her look with simple satin pumps, whilst Taraji opted for an edgier look teaming her dress with Gucci black leather ‘Daryl’ platform sandals from the same Spring 2010 collection plus a Celestina clutch and David Yurman jewels.

For picking a more interesting pair of heels, I’ll give this Taraji.
